Christmas in Dallas

We spent Sophia's first Christmas in Dallas. She had tons of fun playing with Auntie A, Uncle Mig & her cousins Hunter & Hannah : )

Dallas Again

We went to Dallas again. It was a busy visit ... Sophia was starting to crawl before we got there but something about being at Abu's pushed her to go all the way. She's now officially a crawler!
Of course, she also got REALLY spoiled by Auntie A ... that's what aunt's a fro right? FUN!!! Unfortunately though, on the plane on our way back to Atl she got her first fever ... yuck! It took a week to recover but she's feeling MUCH better & can't wait to see what Santa will bring her : )

Grandma

Grandma came back to Atlanta with us for a couple of days ... Sophia just loved spending time with her!

1st THANKSGIVING

Sophia's 1 st road trip was pretty long. What should have taken about 4 hours to Charlotte took almost eight. It took us 3 1/2 just to get out of Atlanta but it was worth it! We spent Sophia's first Thanksgiving @ Uncle Chip & Aunt Judy's. Grandma came up from Sarasota & Ryan, Kevin & Eric had tons of fun playing with Sophia & Duke too! Duke was so happy to see his cousins, he couldn't stop giving them kisses & Kevin introduced Sophia to Monkey Bread ... she loved it!

Poor Duke ... he's been replaced & there's no one to play with ... wait there's always the cats!

Back To The 80's

Baby Legs ...I had heard about these baby leg warmers & then saw a little boy wearing them so I had to get Sophia a few pair. Here she is wearing them with her jean skirt ... cute!

"American Idol" here I come!

Guitar, Piano, & Singing at 7 months ... I think we might be raising the next American Idol : )

Sophia's 1st BOO!

This time last year we mailed out little pumpkins to announce we were expecting one of our own. So of course, we thought it would only make sense to have Sophia dress up as a pumpkin for her first Halloween. Though she didn't quite stay up late enough to trick or treat, she seemed to get the hang of it with her costume & candy!

Papi came to visit

Yippee!!!! We had a nice relaxing weekend with Papi. Sophia was very intrigued by his moustache & liked to pull on his glasses.

Hope & I thought Pearce & Sophia might enjoy gymnastics but they were much more interested in eating the props than tumbling ...

The dads on the other hand seemed to be having lots of fun!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Abu!

I was so worried about traveling the first time but it was actually a piece of cake. This time around was definitely tougher. Sophia only slept during take off but it was worth it. We got to spend 9 days with Abu & were there for her birthday!

Tita was also visiting & she taught Sophia how to play the guitar.

Friends

It seemed everyone at Lilly was pregnant at the same time. Here's Hope's baby Pearce, Kathyrn's little boy Ryland, and Sophia. It's ok Ryland ... don't cry : (

Fuzzy Siblings

Sophia LOVES Tom, Jerry, & Duke ... they seem to like her too expect for when she tries to eat them!

Solids Already

It's crazy how quickly they grow ... 4 months old & we introduced cereal. She didn't seem to mind it but it was VERY messy!

Summer Walks

Daddy, Mommy, Duke & Sophia go on a daily walk ... Tommy & Jerry wish they could join us.
