Thanksgiving
We celebrated our first Thanksgiving in Atlanta this year and it was PERFECT! We all had so much to be Thankful for ... Tia came in from Dallas, Tio from Chicago, and Pappi from Houston. Thanks for making the trip! Sophia wasn't quite sure what to think of Abu's cranberry souffle but at least she tried it ... that's all we can ask from a toddler, right?

Puppy Love
Tio came in on Tuesday from Chicago for a long Thanksgiving weekend and he brought along his two... yes, 2 ... boxers. I was a bit worried about how Duke would handle sharing his home with two other puppies but not only did they get along, I think he's now missing them. Sophia also LOVED having all the dogs around. Boxers really are great family dogs and they love kids!

Pre-Thanksgiving Fun!
Tuesday before Thanksgiving Paula and Jack had the whole gang (Erica & Miller, Donna & Patterson, Allyson & Ansley, Heather, Meg & Kate, Allison, Caroline & Thomas) over for a pre-thanksgiving pizza bash. Everyone had a great time playing in their new playroom. Sophia and Jack even had enough room for a wresting match. Poor Jack, he really wasn't feeling well but Sophia kept tackling him ... knowing these two, I'm sure the tables will be turned next time they see each other. Thanks for having us over Cibula Family... your new home is simply PERFECT!

Wesley Kate's 1st
We spent Saturday afternoon celebrating Wesley Kate's 1st birthday. The theme was a Mad Hatter Tea Party decorated with vintage tea pots and fun crazy hats ... just adorable! While the birthday girl enjoyed eating her cake, Sophia watched from a distance very concerned with how "dirty" Wesley Kate was getting. That strawberry cake sure was yummy : ) Happy Birthday Wesley Kate!

Gym Junkie
Every Thursday we pack our bags and head to our Little Explores class (gymnastics) at Suzuki Village. Class typically starts around 11:30 but we always try to get there early so that Sophia can play in the ball pit with her favorite friend Jack. After almost wearing themselves out it's time to head next door to see Ms. Marsha. All the kids absolutely love her high voice and non stop enthusiasm though it definitely wears us moms out! During class Sophia enjoys jumping on the trampoline, climbing the rock wall and the balance beam.

Imagine It!
Since we didn't have Music on Tuesday we decided to go somewhere new and interesting ... Imagine It! Atlanta's Children's Museum. We met Paula and Jack & Donna and Patterson at the museum where we spent all morning playing with moon sand, legos, going down slides, fishing in a water pond, and Sophia's favorite ... Bob the Builder! After a hectic Chick-Fil-A lunch the mommies and kiddos were all worn out and ready for a long afternoon nap!

Tanglewood Farms
I took Sophia to Tanglewood Farm, a local Wild West town of miniature farm animals. I'm sure you can imagine how much fun my little animal lover had. She especially enjoyed feedi
ng the goats and baby alpaca. She also got to ride on a pony and go for walk looking for buffalo and cows. All in all it was great outing!
