Our Ballerina

We went to Sophia's first ballet recital today.  It was so nostalgic seeing our little girl up on stage.  

 After her performance, Alexandra presented her with purple tulips!

A Party Fit For A Princess

Our little princess requested a purple and pink princess party for her 5th birthday!  So of course, that's exactly what she got!  Well, and some :)  

I know you've all heard about Jack, Sophia's best friend and partner in crime.  This year this duo just happen to be in the same class.  So, rather than take up two weekends in April, we decided to combine Sophia's princess party with Jack's superhero party and had one SUPER PRINCESS party!

Easter

After a visit from the Easter bunny we were off to Mass to celebrate the true meaning of the season!

Sophia's 5!

Sophia's actually birthday was today.  5 years! Can you believe it?!?!  Part of me is stunned by how quickly the time has past but at the same time it's hard to remember her before she could walk, talk etc.  

 As the birthday girl, she got to choose ... pretty much everything!  Princess for a day!

So, per her request I ran out and got some yummy birthday donuts for breakfast!  Can you tell how excited she was?!?!  What a treat!

 

 Here she is all smiles as she blew out her candle and made her birthday wish.

Easter Playdate

To help celebrate Easter, The Zimmerman Family (Kristen, Ansley and Landon ... daddy Scott was there but busy working) had a fun Easter Playdate filled with egg dying, an eeg hunt and a yummy lunch perfect for our little bunnies!  Aren't these little birdie peeps dipped in chocolate the perfect Easter sweet treat?!?! Thank you so much for hosting!
We had eggcellent time!

The girls were very methodical with their egg decorating.  Pink and Purple dye with lots of pink and purple glitter to match. 

While Lucas was happy just playing with ... you guessed it, cars!

The "big boys" Miller and Jack took a break from the Easter activities to go on an adventure and caught this rare species known as Sophia!

Don't let the sad face fool you.  She was loving every minute of it!

(No) Pedal Bike

 

Alexandra has become quite the little cyclist!  Whether it's on her pink pedal-less Pedal bike, or her pink and purple scooter or tricylcle, she loves "practicing her exercises."
