Sophia's version of playing a game of pool ... crawl all over the table gathering balls, put them in the closest pocket then take them out & do it again & again & again .... 

Monkey Joe's

We checked out Monkey Joe's today.  It's really a great idea but we'll probably wait for her to start walking before we head back.  She did seem to have a good time watching all the other kids, admiring the animal figures, & sliding down the slide, but she pooped out fairly quickly ... wait isn't that the point? 

Computer fun

Not quite one & Sophia is already a computer wiz ...  

Book Worm

Sophia is a mini Joe.  One of  the many things they have in common is reading.  She even enjoys a good book ... or two ... or three before nap time ... just like her daddy!    

Valentines Day

    

                     We had planned on going to Jack Henry's for a Valentines brunch party & then a neighborhood party in the afternoon but unfortunately Sophia was not feeling good so we decided to just stay home.  She did get lots of tender love & care ... Joe (her one & only Valentine) gave her some chocolate, which of course she loved, & she had fun opening her first Valentines card.  

DIRTY

So much for not liking her hands dirty.  She found this old pot full of dirt & we couldn't get her to stop playing in it.  She was absolutely filthy and loving every minute. 

Pearce is one!

Pearce had her 1st birthday this weekend and Sophia had a blast at her first birthday party.  She was so happy to see her BFF & it looks like Pearce was pretty happy to see her too.  It's been amazing watching these two grow up.  It really has gone by WAY too fast! HAPPY BIRTHDAY PEARCE!!!!

Swing

Joe put up Sophia's swing and she LOVES it!!!!  Not only did she enjoy the motion, but she thought it was hilarious that Duke would run back & forth under her trying to keep up with her.  I think we found a winner! 

Goodbye Tommy

Today was a sad morning in the Micca household.  Tommy, one of our 13 year old kitties, has unexpectedly gone to heaven.  We do find solace in that he seemed to go peacefully in his sleep but nonetheless it's been a hard day.  Tommy was "the rebel" in the family.  Always jumping on the counters and escaping outside only to cry a few minutes later wanting to come in (he just had to see if he could get away with it). He was also our "talker" & social butterfly.  He loved being in the middle of all the action & craved attention from everyone all the time.  Strangely, Jerry has now become more gregarious but yet it's still not the same.  The house already seems too quite without our little Tommy kitty.  He will be missed.  

Gymboree

Yippie we signed up for Gymboree.  Finally, a class that fits our schedule and Sophia seems to enjoy.  And the best part ... Jack's in the class too!
