When you gotta go ....

Sophia is 100% potty trained but you never want to take any chances. On our way back from the beach she suddenly said ... "uh, oh mommy " I immediately knew that meant she had to go poopy. So with nowhere to stop in sight, we quickly pulled over cause ...
when you gotta go, you gotta go : )

Rosemary Beach Vaca

Rather than ending our summer with the perfect beach vacation, this year we decided to kick off the summer with a trip to the white sands of Rosemary Beach. Perfect can't even describe how great it was! "Our beach house" (as Sophia says) was so spacious with ocean views and it's own pool. As you can see, all the kids, big & small, had a fabulous time soaking up the sun, splashing in the water, and playing in the sand!

Ultimate Playdate

Each Wednesday from 4 - 7 pm (weather permitting) East Cobb Park hosts the Ulitamte Playdate. Featuring Jay Memory, who performs old favorites, that parents can enjoy, and leads children in sing-alongs. It's the perfect way to spend an afternoon. After nap, we pack a picnic dinner, load up the car with plenty of fun outdoor toys and head to the park for a fun filled evening of dance and play.

Part of the fun is being able to get on stage and actually be part of the show!

Gymnastics Ribbon Ceremony

Along with the end of the school year came the end of the year gymnastics ribbon ceremony. Thanks Coach Courtney and Coach Todd!

Jack so proudly showing off his well earned ribbon.

Sophia's turn. You think she's excited?!?!

Bye Bye Yellow School ... until next year.

Today we celebrated Sophia's last day of preschool with a "end of the year picnic"and it's hard to believe another year has gone by. This year was so much fun thanks to two fabulous teachers, Mrs. Inge and Mrs. Paige.

Sophia was so proud to have her baby sister in her classroom.

Enjoying a picnic lunch with all her friends.
The little boy on the left next to Jack is Benjamin. Sophia's first official crush.
One day on the way to school she announced
"Mommy, I Love Benjamin but don't tell Mrs. Inge"

So sad to see this year go by but
at the same time just as excited to see what next year will bring!

Happy Mother's Day!

We spent Mother Day at Tanglewood Farm miniature petting zoo. Spring had sprung! It was the perfect place to go and celebrate being a mommy. So many of the animals had babies; goats, sheep, cows, lamas, pigs, to name a few. They were all so cute! The animals were all ready miniature so their babies were so tiny and really adorable. The best part of it all was just spending time together. Thanks girls and daddy for a great day!

Everyone was so well behaved during our visit. No jail time for my girls : )

The only animals that were not miniature were the rabbits.
They were actually HUGE and so tame!

Sophia and Alexandra couldn't get enough of the sheep. These two kids were so young they had a hard time leaving their mama's side. As soon as they noticed she wasn't around they'd start calling for her. The girls thought it was so sweet to hear them call for maaaaa maaaa.

They also got to ride on a few ponies ... real and this toy one too.

A little too tight

As you can see, Sophia loves her little sister, but she's still working on showing her affection with a gentle hug. Sophia really does mean well but she just doesn't know her own strength. Poor Alexandra!
