Weekend Fun

Sophia had fun playing with Pearce this weekend.   We met her at her grandmothers house where they were celebrating two birthdays.  The girls thought the party was for them and got super excited when we sang happy birthday.  These two are are just so cute together!  

Jack Henry's 1st Birthday

Sophia's friend Jack from music and gymnastics turned one.  He had an adorable cowboy themed party with bandanas, hay, boots and a hat.  All he was missing was a horse .... maybe next time, right paula : )  Here are some pictures from Jack's big day!   

Happy Birthday

Sophia is offically one!  She spent the morning running errands with me & played all afternoon with the neighborhood kids.  After dinner we had a mini party and she had one of her favorite treats ... chocolate!  This first year has gone by so fast yet we can't imagine life without her!

Easter & Birthday Party Weekend

We celebrated Sophia's 1st Easter & birthday.  The activities started Thursday night when Abu & Auntie A flew in from Dallas and Uncle Mig & Stacy came in from Chicago.  They continued thru Monday with her cousins, Ryan, Kevin, and Eric along with Uncle Chip and Aunt Judy who came down from Charlotte.  It was great having everyone in town and Sophia had tons of fun playing, watching videos, staying up late, eating junk food, and hanging out with her family.  She can't wait to see you all soon!

Sophia's 1st Birthday Party!

Thanks to all our family and friends that came to celebrate Sophia's 1st birthday.  She had a BLAST!  Sophia had the best time playing with all her friends and loved it when we sang "happy birthday".  She was definitely a little social butterfly & thrived on all the attention.  She didn't get very messy at all with her smash cake but really enjoyed those peep bunnies ... she ate 2!

Journal Junkie

I know I've mentioned this before but i really can't stress it enough.  Just like Joe, Sophia LOVES to read.  Her latest passion is medical journals.  She particularly likes to read them in the morning.  She even likes to turn them up side down to make sure she sees the data from every possible perspective ... sound familiar : )
