It's hard to believe Sophia will be in Kindergarten next year! My has
she grown up! Four years at her beloved "yellow school" and now with her diploma in hand she's
off to her "big girl school."
Though she says she's sad to leave her yellow school behind, you can also see how proud and happy she is to be going to a"big school" .... especially now that she knows she will be coming home every night. For several months, she had been under the impression Kindergarten was like College. She would "go away and sleep at school" and come home periodically to visit. With so many cousins graduating from HS and College, I guess she thought it was her turn. After a few clarifying conversations, she was put at ease and now Kindergarten gets a big happy smile.
Lucas took his job very seriously. After the ceremony and performance, he presented Sophia with some beautiful purple Lilacs.
We all shared in the excitement but Alexandra was so excited you would have thought she was the one graduating!
You did it! We love you and are so very proud of you! Can't wait to see what else you accomplish!
