Sophia came home with a flyer for the Cobb County Touch A Truck fundraiser. How can we pass this one up? Lucas is obsessed with all vehicles and the girls would have fun climbing and pretending. What a perfect Saturday family activity. Or so I thought!
As expected the girls had a blast! Just the site of some of these vehicles was impressive but then they got to get up close, push buttons and imagine they were "on the job," FUN! Lucas however was in one of his moods. I assumed he would be in heaven seeing his true passion so close up but nothing could get our little man to smile.

So we made the best of it and just hoped something would spark his interest enough to turn his frown upside down : )

Sophia was so excited to give Alexandra & Lucas a tour of a Cobb County School Bus. After all, she is an expert : )
No tears here in the bucket of a cherry picker truck!
And the diggers were a HUGE hit too!
Our family field trip started out a little rocky but everyone ended up "digging" it and we got some great memories out of it too!
