Sophia's class had an in house field trip with a company called Party Animals. They brought about 15 different animals in for the children to learn about and interact with. Some of the show stoppers were an African Tortoise, Chinchilla, King Snake and African Cockroach. Yes, my sweet little Sophia volunteered to walk around with, of all things, the cockroach. Yuck! To tell you the truth is doesn't surprise me one bit! She's always up for an adventure and is a true animal lover. But really a roach!?!? You'd probably never catch me holding anything even close to resembling one. She really is so brave!
